Paste a Polygon token address: we buy and sell it in a simulation against its real pool and show whether the sale goes through and how much tax it takes. Free, no sign-up, no wallet connection.
Next to the sell test the result shows the buy and sell tax, whether the contract can mint tokens, pause transfers or blacklist wallets, whether its code can be replaced and by whom, who holds the supply and whether the liquidity is locked. Every line has its source and the date it was read.
The check finds the token’s largest pool against POL, USDC, USDT or ETH on QuickSwap, SushiSwap and Uniswap. From a fresh test address it buys a small amount from that pool. An hour of blocks later it sells 90% of what it received back through an exchange router. The buy tax is what the pool sent minus what arrived; the sell tax is what was sent minus what reached the pool. If the sale reverts, the token cannot be sold. If it goes through but nothing arrives, the tax takes the whole sale — that is a honeypot too.
It is a simulation against the live contract and the live pool: nothing is sent to the chain and nothing is spent. When our data source and our own test disagree, the page says so and shows both.
On Polygon one name often belongs to several contracts. Sometimes both are real — bridged USDC.e and native USDC are two different tokens — and sometimes one is a copy made to look like a known token in a wallet or a token list. A honeypot copy can carry the same name and symbol. Check by address, not by name: paste the address the project itself publishes.
Gas on Polygon is cheap, so making a copy of a token costs almost nothing. That is why a token with the right name and a pool that is days old deserves a check before you buy.
Since 11 Sept 2026, 2 Polygon tokens have been checked on this site. None failed the sell test, and none let someone mint new tokens. These are the tokens checked here, not a sample of the whole network — figures as of 25 Oct 2026.
One wallet, one small amount, one moment. A token can pass today and be switched to honeypot tomorrow by whoever holds the right functions — which is why the result lists those functions next to the test. More in what a sell test proves, and what it can’t.
