Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of ChainSift Bot (the "Bot"), a Discord application operated by ChainSift, and of the paid reports offered at chainsift.org (together, the "Service").

By adding the Bot to a Discord server, using its commands, or purchasing a paid report, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is

The Bot performs an automated check of on-chain contract mechanics. For a contract address you supply via the /audit command, it reports machine-readable properties such as:

• whether the contract source is verified;
• honeypot indicators;
• buy and sell tax figures;
• token supply;
• liquidity;
• concentration of holdings.

This free check is generated from third-party on-chain data providers and returned in Discord.

A separate paid report ($50) is produced manually and covers material that cannot be read from the chain: the project team, red flags, and a review of its legal and structural setup.

2. What the Service is not

The Service is not investment advice, not financial advice, and not legal advice. Nothing produced by the Bot or contained in a paid report is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset, or an opinion on the legality of any project.

No result guarantees the absence of risk. Contracts can be changed, upgraded, or drained after a check is performed; on-chain data can be incomplete or manipulated; and a contract that is mechanically sound can still belong to a fraudulent project.

Any decision to interact with a contract, send funds, or invest is yours alone, and you bear its consequences in full.

3. Paid reports

• Price: $50, paid in USDT (TRC-20 or ERC-20) through our payment provider. An invoice is issued per order and expires if unpaid.
• Scope: one report covers one project — team review, red flags, and legal/structural analysis. It does not include source-code auditing, penetration testing, or ongoing monitoring.
• Delivery: reports are prepared manually and delivered by email within 24 hours of confirmed payment. If we expect to need longer, we will tell you.
• Refunds: because each report is bespoke work delivered digitally, payment is non-refundable once the report has been delivered. If we cannot deliver a report you have paid for, you receive a full refund. If delivery is materially late and you no longer want the report, contact us and we will refund it.
• What a refund is not for: disagreement with our findings, or an investment outcome that went against you, are not grounds for a refund.

4. Contract Watch (subscription)

• What it is: a standing watch on token contracts you nominate. We re-read each contract's public mechanics on a schedule and message you when one of the defined triggers fires — honeypot, a tax rise of 5 points or more, liquidity unlocking, minting being enabled, verification being lost, or the owner's share rising by 10 points or more.
• Free tier: one contract, no payment, no account.
• Paid: $19 USDT per month raises the limit to ten contracts, and renews every 30 days. Cancel any time; cancellation stops the next renewal and does not refund the period already running.
• Delivery: alerts arrive as a Discord direct message. If your DMs are closed to server members, we cannot deliver them, and that is outside our control.
• Best effort, not a guarantee. Checks run on a schedule, so there is always a gap between an on-chain change and the alert. Third-party data can be late, wrong, or unavailable. We do not guarantee that every change will be detected, or detected in time to act. Watching narrows your reaction window; it does not remove risk, and it cannot catch a scam that never touches the contract.

5. Acceptable use

You may use the free Bot check for your own research and share individual results with others. You may not:

• automate, script, or scrape the Bot, or drive it by any means other than normal Discord interaction;
• circumvent rate limits, or run the Bot through multiple accounts to obtain more checks than the limits allow;
• resell, republish, or redistribute paid reports to third parties, in whole or in substantial part;
• present our output as your own audit, or as an endorsement or certification by ChainSift;
• use the Service to harass, defame, or mislead, including presenting a check of an unrelated contract as a check of someone else's project;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service.

We may rate-limit, suspend, or block any user or server for any of the above, without notice.

6. Availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. It depends on Discord and on third-party data providers, and may be unavailable, delayed, or incomplete at any time. We do not promise uptime and may change or discontinue any part of the Service.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ChainSift is not liable for any loss of funds, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or any indirect or consequential damage arising from your use of the Service or from reliance on its output — including where a check returned no flags and the contract or project nevertheless caused you a loss.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the report in question, and in the case of the free Bot check, to zero.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The "last updated" date above changes when we do. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the applicable law of the operator's place of residence, and any dispute will be handled there, except where mandatory consumer-protection rules of your own country of residence give you additional rights that cannot be set aside by agreement. Nothing in these Terms removes rights you have under such mandatory rules.
